Dr. Malik is the Founder of Texas Pain & Orthopedics (TPO) as well as The Regenerative Wellness Centers of Texas, both headquartered in Austin, TX. TPO is a brand new from-scratch, ground up, outpatient orthopedic facility in Pflugerville (a growing Austin suburb).
TPO was created with the goal of revolutionizing the Interventional Pain Management industry by utilizing its new facilities to provide exceptional care to patients in the Central Texas area.
Dr. Malik’s practice is focused on the conservative, minimally invasive, and surgical care of orthopedic injuries, including the spine and extremities, with emphasis on rehabilitation, functional restoration, pain management, and ergonomic modifications.
Ike Malik, MD is the founder of Texas Pain & Orthopedics in Pflugerville, Texas. He focuses on conservative and minimally invasive care of orthopedic injuries, emphasizing pain management, functional restoration, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Malik attended The University of Texas at Austin for his Biological Sciences and Pre-Medical undergraduate education prior to earning his MedicalDoctorate from The Ross University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Medical Internship in Atlantic City, NJ prior to his Residency inPhysical Medicine & Rehabilitation at The Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Malik was elected to theAdministrative Chief position during the fourth year of his post-graduate training.
Dr. Malik completed two Fellowships after completing his Residency, a Fellowship in Anesthesia Pain Medicine at The Washington University School ofMedicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He also completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Non-Surgical and Minimally Invasive Orthopedics, ElectrodiagnosticMedicine, and Sports Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Malik is Double Board-Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in both Anesthesia Pain Management as well as Physical Medicine& Rehabilitation.
Dr. Malik established Texas Pain & Orthopedics to provide exceptional care for patients in the Central Texas area. He looks forward to helping people in hiscommunity lead rewarding, pain-free, active, and functional lives.
